The Carolina Hurricanes acquired Columbus Blue Jackets forward Max Domi on Monday in a complicated three-way trade that also involved the Florida Panthers.

The Jackets traded Domi, 27, to the Panthers along with a 2022 sixth-round pick that was originally owned by the Toronto Maple Leafs. In exchange, the Panthers sent NCAA fifth-year senior defenseman Tyler Inamoto of Wisconsin to Columbus, which retained 50% of Domi's $5.3 million cap hit.

The Anaheim Ducks continued making moves ahead of Monday's trade deadline, sending forward Rickard Rakell to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forwards Zach Aston-Reese and Dominik Simon, goaltender Calle Clang and a 2022 second-round draft choice.

The New York Rangers have shored up their blueline for the stretch run, reportedly trading for Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Justin Braun.

Philly gets a third-round draft pick in 2023.

The St. Louis Blues acquired defenseman Nick Leddy and Luke Witkowski from the Detroit Red Wings on Monday in exchange for defenseman Jake Walman, center Oskar Sundqvist and a 2023 second-round draft pick.

Leddy is in the final season of a seven-year deal, with an annual average value of $5.5 million.

The Washington Capitals acquired forward Marcus Johansson from Seattle on Monday in exchange for forward Daniel Sprong, a 2022 fourth-round draft pick and a 2023 sixth-round pick.

The Kraken also retained 50% of Johansson's $1.5 million cap hit.

The Chicago Blackhawks are trading goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury to the Minnesota Wild for a conditional first-round draft pick, a source told ESPN on Monday, confirming multiple reports.

The Vancouver Canucks have traded veteran defenseman Travis Hamonic to the Ottawa Senators for a 2022 third-round draft pick.

Hamonic, 31, is a defensive-first player who had seven points in 24 games for the Canucks, averaging 18 minutes, 22 seconds in ice time per game. 

The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning made another trade on the eve of the deadline aimed at becoming the NHL's first team to win three titles in a row since the 1980s.

The Lightning acquired forward Nick Paul from the Ottawa Senators on Sunday night for Mathieu Joseph and a 2024 fourth-round pick. 

Seattle Kraken defenseman Mark Giordano was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday, the teams announced.

Seattle also sent center Colin Blackwell to the Maple Leafs and retained 50% of Giordano's salary-cap hit. In exchange, the expansion Kraken acquired second-round draft picks this year and next year, as well as a third-round choice in 2024.

The Anaheim Ducks, under new general manager Pat Verbeek, continued to deal on Saturday, sending defensemen Hampus Lindholm and Kodie Curran to Boston for a 2022 first-round pick, a 2023 second-round pick, a 2024 fourth-round pick and defensemen Urho Vaakanainen and John Moore.

As part of the trade, Anaheim retains half of Lindholm's $5.2 million cap hit.
